SUMMER Programs

This summer, we're excited to offer a variety of experiences! Depending on your hopes and aspirations, we have a variety of programs that fall within a few themes. 

 

Below you can learn more about the program types on offer to help you start thinking about what kind of Summer Experience you'd like to do and how that might align with your aspirations. 

In a few weeks, we'll share the specific programs we're partnering with for Summer 2024. You'll be able to learn more about each partner, what activities they offer, and click on links to check out their websites. 

PROGRAM TYPES

Which program types sound interesting to you?

Service Learning

  • Travel internationally and engage with the local community

  • Participate in a service project that supports the larger community or local organization (e.g. creating a garden for a local school)

  • Spending money may be required ($100-$200)

  • Groups tend to be larger (12-20+ participants)

  • Passport is required to travel

Academic & Arts

  • Located in California & East Coast

  • Choose & participate in a wide range of academic or arts courses

  • Live on campus at a college or boarding school

  • Offers more independence - you can structure your time with classes & social activities

  • Acceptance for some programs dependent on GPA or portfolio

  • CA REAL ID required to fly, if program isn't local

Career Exploration

Outdoor

​Did you enjoy your outdoor experience and want to do another one? You can!

  • Choose from all our outdoor partners & programs

  • Opportunities are majority local, some out-of-state

  • CA REAL ID required to fly, if program isn't local

  • Located in Washington state

  • Develop workplace readiness

  • Engage in real-world business simulations

  • Network with business leaders, mentors, and peers

  • Foster leadership skills and personal growth

  • Develop skills in communication, teamwork, negotiation, and critical thinking

  • CA REAL ID required to fly
