This summer, you have a second opportunity to embark on an impactful summer experience. The Junior Summer Experience is an opportunity for you to choose an experience based on your aspirations & discover what you’re hoping for in life.

This summer, we're excited to offer a variety of experiences! Below are our summer experiences, sorted into five categories: Academic & Arts, Career Exploration, Outdoor Adventure, and Service Learning. Click on each experience below to learn more

Before you complete our survey, you should talk to your mentor and family about the different programs and how they align with your goals for the summer.

Please note:

  • The final trip placement will be determined by Summer Search based on availability.

  • Spaces are limited and we may not be able to place you on your top choice. We ask for your flexibility and openness.

  • After Summer Search places you on a trip, your spot is not guaranteed until you complete the program's application.

As you're taking a look at the experiences linked below, here are some questions to keep in mind...

  • What does my summer schedule look like? Am I anticipating other summer plans, like vacations, birthdays, summer school, etc?

  • Do I want to travel far or stay close to home? How do I feel about different types of travel, like airplanes? Do I have a REAL ID or U.S. passport; if not, am I able to get one?

  • Am I able to commit to a program's requirements, such as getting travel documents, having the required GPA, getting a teacher recommendation, or attending pre-trip meetings?

  • What questions or concerns about summer experiences does my family have?
