
Outdoor Adventure
Like sophomores, juniors can an outdoor adventure! Programs range 1-3 weeks and take place within California and out-of-state in Colorado. Most experiences include a backpacking component that varies in intensity and can include other activities such as kayaking, rafting and climbing.

Phone Access
You will have your phone when traveling to and from the program. Otherwise, you will not have phone access.
Each program offers different activities! Be sure to read more about each program at this link (or click the orange button below), since you'll be ranking which programs you prefer on the survey!
Backpack, raft or kayak a few miles each day with rest periods or days to recover and relax
Be leader for a day, where you may be responsible for reading the map and directing the group
Help cook, clean or set-up camp for the whole group
Self-reflection, council or group circle, and downtime every evening
Gain practical skills and knowledge about how to connect responsibly with nature
Develop self-confidence and leadership skills
New friendships built around a shared experience
A deeper appreciation for the outdoors and the natural environment
Am interested in a more physically rigorous experience or learning more about outdoor education
Enjoy a smaller and more tight-knit group experience
Am seeking physical and emotional challenge in the outdoors
Want to unplug and step away for a few days
Am able to apply for and receive a California REAL ID (for trips that require a flight)
Have more flexibility with their summer plans, as outdoor adventure dates won't be confirmed until early 2025
