
Summer@Brown
Summer@Brown Pre-College program is a 1- or 2-week academic experience where students will take rigorous college level courses and get a taste for undergraduate life at Brown University in Providence, RI. Students will live in dorm rooms, have roommates, choose academic and extracurricular classes, and participate in various social activities without the formal pressure of credits or grades. This program prepares students for their next steps both in and out of the classroom! Please note: spots are limited for this program.

Participants
Mix of students from all over the world. You may not have another Summer Searcher at your session.
Travel
Summer Search will coordinate travel, including a flight and shuttle to and from campus. REAL ID or passport is required!

You'll have your phone during the program
Be in class for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week and make time for 2-3 additional hours of studying
Learn about a specific interest or area of study
Develop time management and personal accountability skills by keeping track of your own schedule
Participate in college prep workshops, activities, and events put on by the program

Own the responsibility of completing the application
Register for the course that I want
Manage time between class and social activities
Am a high-achieving student with mostly A's and some B's on transcript (or I'm able to get a teacher recommendation)
Am currently on track to graduate high school and in good academic standing
Have a strong grasp of English
Have or am able to get a government-issued ID for travel
